The Afflicted Warriors
Entirely too powerful. I've gone in with a full level 20 party and full health(480+) many times and one[key being 1] of these things run up to you, smack you about 2-3 times and you're dead. that's quite a bit lopsided and extremely frustrating if you ask me. A player warrior can't even do that.

Sorry, but they dont hit for anything close to 160. They hit me for around 70 with necrotic armour. Also, these guys go down faster then the afflicted casters thanks to frenzy. If ones on you all you gotta do is kite abit, and it'll go onto another target. If anything, these guys are weak.

Afflicted warriors hurt because they use enraged smash, which is entirely amazing if the war isn't kited.
Jade brotherhood knights hurt because henchmen are like magnetically drawn into a big group so these guys can hit everyone of them (and granted they are too stupid to spread out).

I think it all depends on the independent spawn. I managed to hench my way to capping the Monk elite in dragons throat, while at other times I'll walk out into a group of 2 or 3 Brotherhood Knights and all the henchies just die automatically.
Out of the 2 I'd say the Brotherhood is stronger, but I think certain areas may have been given different levels of AI to make it harder.

u call afflicted warrior overpowered ???
maby u should think less of ur a warrior and play less rambo like ur god
jade brotherhood knight is worse as 10 afflicted warriors
i pledge for a default announcement at CREATION of warrior that tells them they are NOT rambo and they are NOT invincible, also they should NOT blame monks for their deaths but think before rushing into 20 enemys...
warriors FTL.....not all but for sure 90% of them

Even though Jade Brotherhood Knigts are a menace to henchies, I always aim for their casters first. This applies to Afflicteds also.

The only time I had a problem with afflicted warriors being powerful was before I came to my senses and deleted my assassin, having two-three of them dying around you will take a toll on you.
You didn't say wich class you're playing, but I've never had any problems surviving them except with my assassin. My monk, mesmer and ranger can manage with no problems, so can my warrior, but he has slightly better armour then they do.

I hate all of the Jade Brotherhood, even though their Mesmers are weak, Expel Hexes goes a long way...

I've had this experience with my ranged characters. I'd be sitting in the back of the pack chillin.. casting my spells all happy like and then BLAM.. all of a sudden one of these things runs up to me.. hits me and in no time I'm toast. As far as the knights go.. I usually have no problems with them..

The henchies useually use Prot Spirit and/or Shelter when I face Afflicted. I think that the Afflicted....wait for it... elemantalists are ore of a threat.
